Aprašymas: I. 'THE ARMIES OF THE ALLIES. An interesting group of the nationalities fighting the Central Powers in the Balkans. British, French, Russian, Italian, Serbian, Indian, Cretan, Senegalese, Greek, and Anammite (sic) type of soldiers.' The men stand talking. Cigarettes are offered by a British officer and generally accepted. The men file past the camera one after the other.II. 'V.T.C. Accompanied by the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Field Marshal Lord French watches the march past of the Lancashire Volunteers.' French and other military men pass the camera. The Field Marshal decorates a convalescent soldier. March past of the Lancashire Volunteers along cobbled city street - the first detachment are all in civilian dress, the second section, preceded by a small band, wear a motley combination of civilian and military clothing.III. 'KING ALBERT'S BAND. The Band of the Belgian Grenadiers are inspected by Viscount French on their arrival in Manchester.' Band marches past holding their instruments - they are in a park, watched by a small crowd. Scene shifts to Belgians fallen in outside city building (the station ?) - French inspects, then talks briefly with their CO before departing.IV. 'THE LORD MAYOR'S SHOW. A captured German aeroplane and three captured guns were the special feature of the military pageant.' German light guns - a 105mm field howitzer and a (?) 75mm gun - and the wingless body of a LVG C.II are towed along the street, followed by the ornate coach carrying the Mayor. 'THE LORD MAYOR. Col. Sir W.H. Dunn arriving at the Law Courts for the initiation ceremony.' Dunn and retinue file inside - in the background a naval detachment is marching past. Dunn poses for the camera in the regalia of the Lord Mayor.
